“Pensando al lavoro fatto con Sergio sulle musiche del film mi veniva da scrivere qualcosa del tipo “la musica supera i confini”, ma questa frase è troppo male usata, è servita a decine di ipocrite serate di gala o campagne di marketing multiculti per coprire reali scelte di chiusura dei confini.
I peggiori poteri hanno usato musicisti per imbellettare la facciata della loro violenza. E troppi musicisti hanno accettato in silenzio questo ruolo.
Per questo penso che la musica composta da Sergio non superi i confini, ma i poteri. Sappia scavare dentro alle loro contraddizioni e farne sentire il dolore.
E’ la musica che ci fa sentire ciò che Corrado non vuole avere nemmeno il coraggio di dirsi.”
